The 35-year-old actress, who is all set to showcase her comic skill in upcoming film 'Mr Joe B Carvalho', says taking up the project was a conscious decision as she wanted to break free from her serious image.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 23px;">
"Comedy requires certain expressions which don't make you look beautiful or elegant onscreen but I don't mind making fun of myself. What I love about this movie is that for the first time I was given an opportunity to break the image of doing certain roles," Soha told PTI.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 23px;">
'Mr Joe B Carvalho', directed by Samir Tewari, is slated to hit theatres on January 3, 2014. The film also stars Arshad Warsi opposite Soha, who plays the role of a police officer named Shantipriya in the film. She is assisting detective Carvahlo.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 23px;">
Soha feels comedy cannot be learnt.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 23px;">
"Comic timing is very difficult to learn. Either you have it or you don't. But I don't think that you can learn comedy. I don't think that it is something that can be taught," she said.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 23px;">
In one of the scenes for the movie, Soha has slipped into a blue bikini.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 23px;">
"The bikini was the need of the script and the director was more shy than me. This movie is a very clean family entertainer. So we did not have to do anything needless to titillate the audience," she said.</div>
<div style="background-color: white; font-family: Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif; font-size: 15px; line-height: 23px;">
"It is absolutely a woman's right to choose what to wear and what not to. As a professional when you are performing a character on screen it is not open for any personal judgement," she added.</div>
