Dhoom:3 continues to create history at both the Indian and overseas box office. It is now officially the first Indian film to cross Rs. 500 crore worldwide,” read the statement from YRF.
Dhoom 3 also broke the record for fastest entry into Rs. 100 crore, which was earlier held by Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Chennai Express.
In India,Dhoom 3 starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra, has grossed Rs. 351.29 crore, while in the overseas market, it has collected Rs. 150.06 crore ($25.01 million).
The collection totals Rs. 501.35 crore.
