There was buzz in K-town about Drishyam remake for the Female lead of the film , many names are heard for playing female lead alongside Kamal Haasan.
Although names like Nadhiya, Meena and Simran are being contemplated by makers, reports suggest that Gauthami has bright chances to reprise the role of Meena in this remake version. However, official confirmation is awaited from makers.
