For the first time in her career, Priya Anand, who has till now been playing the modern, urban woman in all her movies, will do the role of a village girl.The ‘Nootrenbadhu’ and ‘Vanakkam Chennai’ actress will play Annapoorani, a girl from a town in Madurai district, in the movie to be directed by Kannan of ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ fame.
The yet untitled movie will have Vimal in the lead role and shooting will begin in Tuticorin early next year. The film will be produced by Michael Royappan of Global Infotainment.
