After the news that Ilayaraja suffered a cardiac arrest did rounds in Kollywood yesterday, fans have been waiting in anticipation for some good news about his health improving. And we have it from credible sources in the tinsel town that the maestro is doing fine and is responding to the treatment. He also underwent an angiogram at the Apollo Hospital and is in the ICU where he is being monitored by the doctors.
Premji Amaren, Ilayaraja’s nephew, had Tweeted that Ilayaraja is fine; following which music composer’s fans heaved a sigh of relief. The maestro will be in the hospital until he recovers completely.
