In Bollywood, in the last years remaking Kollywood films has been a trend. From 'Ghajini' to 'Singham', the largest Tamil blockbusters were remade in Hindi. And most of them have been successful !
"Arrambam", the latest Tamil blockbuster, had been coveted by many bollywood actors. Akshay Kumar was the first to express his desire to play the role of Ashok Kumar played by Ajith Kumar in the original version. Then the name of Shahrukh Khan was also mentioned, but this news seems to have been rejected. Hrithik Roshan has also insisted for this role but officialy we don't know who will act in the remake .
Akshay Kumar is currently working with director A.R.Murugadoss on the remake of "Thuppakki".
We should wait for official announcements to see who will replace Thala !
